Carolyn’s career took off when she left the Art Institute of Chicago to launch her own general contracting company specializing in insurance claim restoration for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. As a licensed Public Adjuster in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and Colorado, she ran a successful Public Adjusting Firm and General Contracting company in Chicago. With over a decade of experience in office/property management, construction, and property insurance negotiation, she’s tackled it all.

After spending 10 years in The Windy City, Carolyn returned to her Kalamazoo roots to be closer to family. Now, as our property manager, she’s the glue that holds everything together, seamlessly managing properties, construction crews, and the frequent chaos (like cars meeting buildings).

​When able to escape the office, Carolyn enjoys traveling with her husband Daniel, cooking, hiking, and spending time with family and her two dogs, Wicket and Willow. Wherever she goes, Carolyn brings her expertise, humor, and contagious smile.
